I have always been passionate about food processing!
Being the fifth generation of a family that disrupted the food industry, played a key role indeed. Nonetheless the thirty plus years of travels around the world transformed this passion into a kaleidoscope of opportunities in other correlated areas (automation, nutraceutical, oenology…).
I am the Director of Business Development at Gulftech International a diversified holding group, global leader in the food and packaging sectors
Until May 2022 I have been the President and CEO of Turatti North America, located in Salinas (CA) the AG capital of the world, with one foot in its fields and another edged toward Silicon Valley.
I held several board positions including IFPA (International Fresh-Cut Produce Association), United Fresh and Confindustria Venezia (“Industrial Association of Italy”).
I have authored several articles and book chapters on Food Safety, Fresh-Cut and Hygienic Design and I serve on the Editorial Advisory Board of Produce Processing Magazine. I cooperate as external instructor with UC Davis and I am also in the advisory board of several important US and European Universities.
I have been speaker in dozens of industry events in all the continents on multiple topics ranging from food processing to automation and hygienic design.
I hold a B.S. degree “Summa Cum Laude” in Political Science with publication from the University of Padua and earned a dual specialization in Business Administration from University Bocconi in Milan.
Cooking, collecting antique books and traveling have always been my life-long passion.
